Description:
In this class, you will be guided through a systematic practice of Yoga Nidra, a powerful technique for deep relaxation and conscious awareness.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation which can be known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”.  The practice draws the attention inwards, and teaches one to hover between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where the body finds its natural state – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and create an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll lie down in a comfortable position and be guided through a series of instructions that will help you relax your body and mind. The instructor will lead you through a body scan, breath awareness, and guided imagery to induce a state of deep relaxation. You will remain awake and aware throughout the practice, allowing your body to completely relax while your mind stays present. The session will end with gentle instructions to bring you back to a state of wakefulness, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
